Demonstrate proficiency with putting type on paths and shapes.
_ Use only type. _ Demonstrate all of the skills presented in the "type on a path" tutorials. _ Show a wide variety of fonts, font sizes & weights, colors. This is a 1.5class period assignment for a reason. The expectation is that you are using the skills you've learned to demonstrate that you are proficient with all of what you have learned so far. Save your file in your Illustrator folder. Save the file using your lastname_UnitAi10. |

Demonstrate proficiency with converting type to outlines.
_ Use only type.
_ Create a type (text) design using your name and a short phrase.
_ Clearly demonstrate use of pathfinders and tweaking letters.
_ Use different fonts, colors, gradients, and strokes.
_ Use the direct select tool to tweak letters.
_ Try using a "hard" shadow.
_ Remember that you know how to rotate, shear, reflect. You know how to alter strokes. You know how to use gradients. You know how to adjust text leading and letter spacing.
